The beginning of the middle

This is my very first post for October's bride and I'm thrilled to have started something that has been on my mind for months. I am completely obsessed with all things weddings and have a need to share and connect with like minded individuals!

To me there is nothing more lovely than a bride walking down the aisle to meet her groom and the multitude of emotions running through everyone in the room in those moments. It will be forever cherished as a day well worth the planning and any stress that may have come before that day.

As the blog title suggests I will be getting married this October, a true traditional blushing spring bride! But while I do love all things traditional, I am drawn to unique ideas and new traditions created by today's bride as we seek to create an individual and memorable event.

So while this blog will be partly about my journey and what gems of advice I can share with other brides, it will also showcase the latest and greatest in wedding news and other real weddings for inspiration.

And to shed some light on the title of this post if anyone may be curious, as I have just started this blog (the beginning) and I am in the midst of my engagement and wedding planning (the middle)I feel that I am beginning one thing while being in the middle of another, with both processes very much intertwined.

Looking forward to posting and hearing from you about your own wedding dreams and advice,
October
